Postmortem on a LiveEDU Live Stream Project (Part 1)

The past couple of months I've been live coding a project at [LiveEDU]( As I get ready to wrap up the project and start some new endeavors I'm taking a moment to think about the LiveEDU service itself and what I did well or could have done better.

@anildash Ugh! I didn’t see the connection till you said it. Wow. I feel like I need to go back to bed now.

8yo was asking me a Doctor Who question...had a brain fart & just was the 4th doc w/out missing a beat 8yo says, oh Tom Baker

Funny that most old school companies like @verizon my hold times are between 2 and 5 minutes…was just on old for 20 with @PayPal

@coderabbi Think of “today” as the landing page with the list of links but the meat is on the details page.

@coderabbi So “filtering” is essentially going to the project page for what you want to work on

@coderabbi I think this is where projects come into play. “Today” should really be a dump of “next steps”

AV is good at building a team but he is not good at using a team once it is built to win...he proves this time and time again

@JoeFortunatoBSB Right or wrong, I’m sure that’s what AV is feeling: you don’t hire a Jack Adams winner as a “A” without a long term plan

I’m really questioning my life choices today: my @spotify discovery playlist is all over the place and it’s kinda disturbing

@AustenAllred “We think that’s stupid” is google speak for “we’re mad we didn’t do it first”

@code didn’t accidentally overwrite the file, saved with no errors multiple times…tab over to the browser…come back…old JS code…

@code that’s a couple of hours of work that is gone…no reason…nothing I did wrong…just fucking gone

@code just reverted a file I was in to something old. I’ve been saving w/ no problem, but it seems to have “forgotten” all those saves
